Just for Fun....

This piece is made in 14 karat rose gold with some small but dazzling diamonds. I also put it on a rose gold chain....it is stunning!

Created from an old family heirloom

Sometimes you just need to update an old piece. In this case my client had the center diamond and I found two matching blue sapphires. I designed it to accommodate a wedding band to keep a traditional wedding ensemble.

Another Creation

Try on this custom Ruby diamond pendant slide!

Create another New and Updated Look

She simply wanted an updated look!

Starting with concept I create a computer generated model.

Once the model is completed we can proceed to cast the ring in the desired metal.

Stone Selection is next and in this case a couple very nice Ceylon Blue Sapphires. The metal choice for this ring was 14 karat white gold.

Sri Lanka's Finest Gems

One of the most amazing pieces I've done is this 2-1/2 carat blue sapphire pendant. It is a rare occurrence to walk into any jewelry store and see a gemstone exhibiting such amazing qualities. No doubt you'll have something very few people own!

Restyling Family Heirlooms for a New Generation

Creation of the design via an Auto Cad rendition

The finished Piece

There is nothing more meaningful to a future life partner than to present a gemstone worn by a distant relative.
I love the process of taking an outdated piece and creating something that reflects the current fashion combined with the desires of the recipient.

Lapis Lever-back Earrings

Lapis lazuli ( or lapis for short, is a deep blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone that has been prized since antiquity for its intense color. As early as the 7th millennium BC, lapis lazuli was mined in the Sar-i Sang mines, in Shortugai, and in other mines in Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan. Lapis was highly valued by the Indus Valley Civilisation (3300–1900 BC). Lapis beads have been found at Neolithic burials in Mehrgarh, the Caucasus, and even as far from Afghanistan as Mauritania. It was used in the funeral mask of Tutankhamun (1341–1323 BC).
At the end of the Middle Ages, lapis lazuli began to be exported to Europe, where it was ground into powder and made into ultramarine, the finest and most expensive of all blue pigments. It was used by some of the most important artists of the Renaissance and Baroque, including MasaccioPeruginoTitian and Vermeer, and was often reserved for the clothing of the central figures of their paintings, especially the Virgin Mary.
Today, mines in northeast Afghanistan and Pakistan are still the major source of lapis lazuli. Important amounts are also produced from mines west of Lake Baikal in Russia, and in the Andes mountains in Chile. Smaller quantities are mined in Italy, Mongolia, the United States, and Canada

Rutilated Tourmaline Quartz

Ok, so busy hand are happy hands....I've been working on this design for a 24 carat rutilated tourmaline quartz. It's abstract, crazy, fun and unique to say the least. Set in solid yellow gold this will certainly create conversation!
