Remembering a loved one

What is a piece of jewelry worth?

A good question that can be answered only by the beholder. I have encountered many a customer who held a relatively inexpensive piece irreplaceable not because of the price of metals or the rarity of the gemstones it holds but rather the memory it represents. The heirloom, you see, can take us back to a special time or event as clearly as a photograph or entry into a diary.
At the request of a friend I used a spouse's wedding band with that same concept in mind...to keep a moment, a day or even a year frozen in time. The spouse's band had a beautiful hand engraving inside, which I felt was as important as the band itself so I simply created a white gold frame around it, added bale with some diamonds so that can be worn everyday...and next to the heart!
